Conference and Guest Services is pleased to provide convenient, affordable on-campus housing and dining options for families and guests of students during orientation.
Lodging is only available for the first night of your student's orientation session.
Take advantage of this opportunity to experience dining and lodging on the campus your student is about to call home! The deadline for online registration is 11:59 pm, Wednesday, July 1, or until space is filled. Reservations must be made and paid for in advance. Accommodations for families and guests attending orientation is in New Hall West. Each room features a private bathroom, carpeted floors, and climate control. All rooms come with two sheets, two towels, pillow, pillowcase, and washcloth..
Students will be staying in West Ambler Johnston Hall. Housing and dining reservations for the students attending Orientation are handled by the New Student and Family Programs office as part of their registration for Orientation.
Breakfast and dinner will be held in D2, our all-you-care-to-eat dining center. Lunch during orientation will be a picnic with boxed meals. All meals offer a variety of options, including low-fat and vegetarian items.
Orientation provides a perfect opportunity for you to spend time with your student while experiencing what Virginia Tech has to offer.
All rates include Virginia sales tax.
